What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Part of the testimony of every true born-again Christian has to do with the answer to life’s most important question: What must I do to be saved? The answer to this question will always depend on what your authority is: the teachings of man or the Word of God. Seeing the difference is seeing the truth.

True, saving faith comes from hearing (reading) the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is the channel by which all divine truth is disseminated to the heart. If you have a copy of Gods Word, read the gospel of John, especially chapters 1-5. Ask God to help you see who Jesus is, who you are, and what you must do to pass from death unto life. Then trust God’s Word alone without the teachings of your religion. Christ will set you free from death and destruction and give you peace and everlasting life, and you will abide with Him forever. Just get started reading today, and let us know how you are doing. When you have in faith surrendered your life to the Lord, we will gladly add your testimony to this page.

Out And Then In

Once a person sees his need to get out of the Watchtower, he then must see his need to get in Christ. The most troubling question a leaving JW has is, After I leave the WT, where do I go? The answer is to Jesus Christ, that is the true Jesus of the Bible, who is the Eternal Son of God. Jesus said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matt 11:28).

John 1:12 But as many as received him [Jesus Christ], to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again [born of God], he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
